Do’s and Don’ts of Pest Control and General safety measures while doing pest control service.

Introduction 

   These instructions used by pest control technicians and home or property  owner .General safety precautions during pest control service enhance their Awareness to safety and hazard at work and advise  to prevent any accidental poisoning or harm to health.

Pest control workers apply pesticides in godowns, factory, pharmacy, office and household unit Park etc.In the course of their work they may be exposure of wages safety and health hazard arising forms.

Pesticide poisoning

 Pesticides used by pest control workers are substance of repairing killing for preventing pest by retaining their central nervous system or circulatory system or damaging their major organs therefore pesticides are normally harmful to humans and animals. Exposure to excessive pesticides may lead to to equate poisoning chronic poisoning allergic reactions pesticides which cause irritation for correction can damage the eyes and skin directly. Routes of entry of pesticides into human body ,worker can exposed to pesticides in 3 ways.

Dermal exposure

 oral exposure 

inhalation exposure

  Pesticides may be observed through intact Of Broken skin  so coming into direct is in contact with pesticides. 

Not wear clothing contaminated with pesticides

 Avoid exposure to pesticides droplets or vapors.

 Asides can enter the body through the digestive system so after coming into contact with pesticides one should not drink smoke until having clean their hands and face. 
* One should avoid contamination of food by pesticides
Can enter the body through the respiratory system so maintain good ventilation.

Use protective respirators prevent pesticides from spreading through the ventilation system

 Symptoms of poisoning

 symptoms depend on the toxicity of pesticides as well as dose and mode of intake common symptoms are

 headache nervousness 

 diarrhoea vomiting contraction of eye pupils

 excessive sweating ,tearing

 saliva secretion

safe practice in using pesticides

 unnecessary using pesticides may increased the hazards of humans animals and environment considered other effective patient on measures before resorting to use of pesticides if no alternative practicable avoid causing damage to the environment or Hyderabad to human and animal health when using pesticides to not when conducting risk assessment on the use of pesticides the pesticide is permitted by law for the intended purpose.
